In this paper, I reply to some of the sharp criticisms propounded, respectively, by Nicola Muffato and Giovanni Tuzet and directed to the notions of norm and of meaning, the conceptual status of the rule of recognition and its relation with legal sources, the empiricist methodology applied to the legal field, the role of connectives in the logic of norms and the logical analysis of counterfactuals which I had elaborated in my books Diritto, indeterminatezza, indecidibilità and Studi sulla logica del diritto e della scienza giuridica.

Abstract
