This work deals with the energy audit of a residential building in Novi Ligure. The energy consumptions related to the actual state of the building are calculated with the procedure established by the standards UNI/TS 11300; the accuracy of results obtained by the model are verified by means the comparison with the real data of billing efficiency. Some energy efficiency improvements concerning the building envelope and the technical plants are then proposed. For each solution, the savings in terms of both fuel and electric energy consumptions are quantified and an economic analysis is carried out. This analysis allows to know not only what are the single actions that have a better economic return, but also to verify what is their best combination.
