EnglishThis report summarizes the calculations carried out on a structural detail according to several different local stress approaches. The aim is to compare the results obtained by various methods and to analyze capabilities and difficulties in the application. The numerical calculations were carried out by the well known finite element (FE) software Ansys according to the guidelines of the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and according to other methods proposed in open literature.
