Let K[t1, t2 , . . . , tn] be the polynomial ring in n variables over a field K. We fix an integer d and a sequence a=(a1,a2,...,an) of integers with 1<=a1<=a2<=... <= an<=d and d less than or equal to the sum of the ai'. In this paper we classify all the sequences a and integers d for which the Veronese type algebra A(a,d) is Gorenstein.

Abstract
