This article presents the results obtained —through ethnographic tools and video recordings— from an investigation whose goal was to analyze the most important orality traits in a consecutive Italian-Spanish interpretation, during a communicative situation of mediation training with two postgraduate students of interpretation and an Argentinian instructor, emphasizing the collaborative attitude of the latter towards the interpreters, as well as their active implication. These results can be applied in the didactics of interpretation, more specifically, in relation to the interpreter’s reflexivity about their role and the specific linguistic traits of the two languages implied.

Abstract
This article presents the results obtained —through ethnographic tools and video recordings— from an investigation whose goal was to analyze the most important orality traits in a consecutive Italian-Spanish interpretation, during a communicative situation of mediation training with two postgraduate students of interpretation and an Argentinian instructor, emphasizing the collaborative attitude of the latter towards the interpreters, as well as their active implication. These results can be applied in the didactics of interpretation, more specifically, in relation to the interpreter’s reflexivity about their role and the specific linguistic traits of the two languages implied.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
