Warehousing is one of the most important elements of a supply chain. It is common to use analytical and simulationbased operations research techniques in the studies held on this topic. Warehousing systems are complex in their nature and analytical techniques lack modeling high level of system detail. On the other hand, simulation is more convenient to model complex warehouse systems with high level of detail. In this paper we present a new approach for modeling and simulation of unit-load warehouse systems. Our approach includes the use of a discrete event simulation (DES) library and a warehouse class library. We also showed a real application by utilizing our approach.
