ABSTRACT The micro phototext is the subject of this article. After a theoretical reflection on the specificities of the micro narration, we propose the analysis of two collections of this narrative form, Patrick Devresse and Lucien Suel's Photoromans (2008), and Mini-fictions by Patrick Devresse and Christian Garcin (2015). Attention is drawn to the narrative strategies and the caracteristics of the devices and to the various relationships that are established between the texts and the images. These interconnections demonstrate the potentialities of the minimal phototexts where images concur to construct meaning with the brief text that would not completely form it. This kind of intermediate creation is due also to online publication on the Internet and fits perfectly to the laws of reading on the screen.
