Aen. 7, 543: il volo di Alletto

It is proposed again with new arguments, at Verg. Aen. 7, 543, the conjecture of Bothe connixa per auras in place of the mss.conversa (only in the Mediceus) and convexa (of all the rest of the tradition): the compound of nitor makes well the full effort of hybris with which Allecto, infernal creature, tries to enter the aurae aetheriae, then to be driven back to the Underworld.

Si ripropone con nuovi argomenti, a Verg. Aen. 7, 543, la congettura di Bothe connixa per auras in luogo dei traditi conversa (del solo Mediceo) e convexa (di tutto il resto della tradizione): il composto di nitor rende bene lo sforzo pieno di hybris con cui Alletto, creatura infernale, si inoltra nelle aurae aetheriae, per poi essere cacciata nuovamente verso gli Inferi.
