This circumstance produced a focusing efforts on an issue that once again became central also from the theoretical point of view, after the important reflections Brandi encoded in Restoration Theory dating back to the sixties. The works presented, including other issues, sought to clarify the indisputable architectural anomaly compared to the works of figurative art and the lack of relevance of the concept of "lacuna", understood etymologically as 'empty', where it normally appears as the absence of a layer between other, of a material which necessarily it arises in another view. Starting from this consideration, this paper will deal with a particularly challenging event that occurs when the "lacuna" does not show just the underlying technical layers, but leaves emerge remains of previous architectural configurations.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
