The article investigates a theme which is core to twenty-first century pedagogics. The relationship between families and school stands as a pivotal theme in family and school education and boasts noteworthy precedents in pedagogical activism and the era of ruling by decree. The aims of shared family-school responsibility in education should lead to individual planning on the pupil's part and to a broad spectrum vision of shared responsibility in education, extended to nourishing authentic social cohesion whilst creating conditions so that the pact of shared responsibility is not to be institutionally ratified.

Abstract
