These skills are a critical asset for any kind of decision maker. This work is focused on military officers; however, the authors' goal is to develop general methodologies and games that could find applications also in the industrial and business world, being decision making and, in particular, strategic decision making critical elements in every sector. In this paper the theoretical framework and the preliminary ideas on possible games development are illustrated.
