Abstract

Two different techniques, to enhance the spatial resolution of two-dimensional radiometer data, are presented and compared. The first approach is based on the two-dimensional truncated singular value decomposition (TSVD). Instead, the second approach is a generalization of the iterative regularization method (Landweber method) in Banach spaces. Experiments show a) the accurancy of the proposed techniques, b) the best performances of the Landweber method, c) the smallest computation time of the TSVD method.
