A nanoarray or microarray of antibodies comprising a planar surface having an ultraflat surface is described, which is characterized in that it comprises a planar substrate functionalized with a first monolayer of linking molecules, preferably APTES molecules, and a second monolayer of small peptides of the general formula (I) capable of binding the Fc region of antibodies. The nanoarray or microarray of the invention comprises a plurality of capture antibodies immobilized on the planar support, preferably in the form of a matrix of spots, and is suitable to be used for detecting antigens in a biological sample by AFM imaging. Abstract
