Cho’s open surgery technique using an arthroscopic route has been utilized by our department since 1987. It entails the proximal dissection of the semitendinosus and gracilis muscles, tibial and femoral tunnellisation and the fixation of the implant, after passing through the bone tunnels to the external femoral condylus. A variation was made in this method which consisted of the section and fixation of doubled tendons, thus making the implant more resistant. This series was reviewed at the distance and the results were evaluated, obtaining a high number of good and excellent parameters.

Abstract
Cho’s open surgery technique using an arthroscopic route has been utilized by our department since 1987. It entails the proximal dissection of the semitendinosus and gracilis muscles, tibial and femoral tunnellisation and the fixation of the implant, after passing through the bone tunnels to the external femoral condylus. A variation was made in this method which consisted of the section and fixation of doubled tendons, thus making the implant more resistant. This series was reviewed at the distance and the results were evaluated, obtaining a high number of good and excellent parameters.File in questo prodotto:
