In recent years both institutions and industries have been involved in actions meant to favor the approach of the young generations to science, in order to increase the scientific and technological development of society. In this framework, during the last years, the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry (DCCI) of the University of Genova has been carrying on different projects. In this paper two such projects will be described, in which the laboratory activities are preceded by a visit to the Chemistry Museum of the DCCI, so that the young visitors could appreciate chemistry from a more complete point of view. During the activities a questionnaire was distributed to the teachers, in order to evaluate the projects both for the museum and the laboratory contributes. An evaluation of the results is reported herein.
