Abstract
The prevention in all sectors is the main tool to reduce the chronic-degenerative diseases and ,above all at workplace, to reduce deaths. IT supports the technical-scientific approach and favours the dissemination of each defined tool . Over the last years a European portal on cancer risks and prevention at workplace has been developed and maintained by several scientific institutions active in the occupational health and safety sector, as model of the previous issues. EuroWorksafe promotes the communication and the dissemination of knowledge, offering the access to a wide range of contents (guidelines, good practices, articles, publications, data banks, web sites, legislation and training) and services trying to reduce the time to find information, both for generic and professional users, by providing a unique, specialized access point to distribute information, with facilitated access by the use of a semantic web platform. The aim of EuroWorksafe is to improve the workers’ conditions at work and to contribute to a reduction in the incidence of occupational cancers, by means of reliable and accurate information fulfilling the creation of culture on safety and prevention objectives. Now new approaches are also in progress in collaboration with Genoa University –DIST to prepare tools of consultation for workers and students with analysis and elaboration of International databases.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
