A perturbation procedure is proposed, aimed at evaluating the influence of wind mean force on critical conditions of slender structures subjected to aeroelastic instability in the quasi-static regime. Preliminary results highlight the role played by structural symmetries with regard to the incident flow and the great importance of the mean force effects on non-symmetric cases.

Abstract
