We discuss the resistivity, the Hall, the Seebeck and the Nerst effect in the mixed state taking the motion of Abrikosov and Josephson vortices into account. Measurements on a Bi(2223) tape point out how the contribution of Josephson vortices to the resistivity prevails at low temperatures while the thermomagnetic effects are, in a first approximation, due to the motion of Abrikosov vortices
