A new design approach is proposed. It allows simplified and fast analyses with the purpose of pre-dimensioning a crib wall system's stacking sequence. It takes into account the soil-structure interaction of both the crib-filling material and the thrusting backfill and the use of a new pre-casted foundation element. The crib wall system is optimized by U.L.S. and information about the dimensioning are provided.

Abstract
