Standard di tutela dei lavoratori marittimi: profili sostanziali e internazionalprivatistici nel diritto dell’Unione europea

This article, part of an issue of "Rivista di diritto internazionale privato e processuale" dedicated to Prof. Sergio M. Carbone, focuses on the contribution of European Union law to the strengthening of labour standards in the maritime sector both substantively and by way of the introduction of ad-hoc private international law rules. Mention is made, in this respect, of a series of international, European and collective legal instruments as well as of the significant contribution of the European Court of Justice's case law.
