A modified version of the moment method is proposed, which was developed for the computation of electromagnetic energy distributions inside living tissues of bodies irradiated by incident fields. The approach is based on the assumption that the body under test partially differs from a known standard model. The numerical computation is developed only for the body parts that exhibit physical and geometrical differences. This can be very useful in several cases, for example when many partially different scatterers have to be analysed, or when a scatterer may assume different spatial positions while part of the scatterer keeps unchanged. The proposed method is described and some preliminary numerical results are reported.

Abstract
A modified version of the moment method is proposed, which was developed for the computation of electromagnetic energy distributions inside living tissues of bodies irradiated by incident fields. The approach is based on the assumption that the body under test partially differs from a known standard model. The numerical computation is developed only for the body parts that exhibit physical and geometrical differences. This can be very useful in several cases, for example when many partially different scatterers have to be analysed, or when a scatterer may assume different spatial positions while part of the scatterer keeps unchanged. The proposed method is described and some preliminary numerical results are reported.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
