In this paper the (smooth irreducible) curves of the projective space which can be constructed on cones over projectively normal curves C are studied. It is shown that all smooth curves on such cones are projectively normal and a resolution for their homogeneous ideal is given, depending on the resolution of the ideal of C.

Abstract
