The research project “Mehrsprachigkeit und literarische Kreativität” (“Plurilinguism and literary creativity”) was founded on the occasion of the international congress KCTOS (Knowledge, Creativity, Transitions of Society) in December 2008 in Vienna. It was meant to investigate the many and diverse connections between multilingualism and creativeity in writing systematically and from an interdisciplinary perspective. The aim of the project is to explore the more or less close relationship between individual/social plurilinguism and literary creativity.
