This manuscript reviews the pathogenesis and clinical presentation of hydrothorax following controlled ovarian hyperstimulation. In addition, we describe the case of a 33-year-old woman with a right massive hydrothorax resulting from controlled ovarian hyperstimulation for intracytoplasmic sperm injection.
