Recently Liguria Region has started, with the scientific support of University of Genova, the realization of a GPS Permanent Station Network as a Positioning Service at regional level. Due to the particular conformation of the Ligurian territory, the Permanent Stations will be dislocated along a weakly curved alignment. Conseguently the estimation of differential corrections will feel the effects of the particular “linear” configuration, probably causing bad-conditioned estimations. For this reason, RTK tests were performed in reference to some Permanent Stations of the network managed by Politecnico of Torino, chosen so that their dislocations reproduce the shape of the Ligurian territory. Moreover, the network software was configured so to manage a “cell” of stations comparable to the ligurian dislocation. Tests were performed on point distributed in Asti’s and Alessandria’s districts, either along the alignment between the Permanent Stations and very far from it, so to evaluate the effective planoaltimetric quality of RTK solution. The survey campaigns have provided indications about either the state of Piemonte Network and the disposition of the future Ligurian Permanent Stations; in particular they point out from now on the utility of integrating Permanent Stations of neighbouring GNSS networks in the estimation of differential corrections for the Ligurian service.

Abstract
The survey campaigns have provided indications about either the state of Piemonte Network and the disposition of the future Ligurian Permanent Stations; in particular they point out from now on the utility of integrating Permanent Stations of neighbouring GNSS networks in the estimation of differential corrections for the Ligurian service.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
