The possible dynamics of a model of a hysteresis-based circuit oscillator are analyzed when varying its characteristic’s parameters. By combining brute-force simulations with continuation methods it is shown that the complexity of the scenario obtained through brute-force simulation is largely justified by the presence of a few codimension-2 bifurcation points, which organize the whole bifurcation scenario.

Abstract
