Considering the most recent Legal historiography, this essay offers some reflections on the Italian Legislative mobilization, first, and legislative demobilization, then, during the Great War. The objective is to highlight how the so called Ius Belli contributed to innovating the discipline of many legal Institutions of Italian Private Law at that time.
