We here focused osteopontin (OPN), which was tested independently associated with left ventricular diastolic dysfunction (LVDD). Overall, OPN increased with DbCM severity according with the presence of left atrial dilatation, LV hypertrophy and LVDD.

Abstract

Diabetic cardiomyopathy (DbCM) is characterized by restrictive pattern and consistent risk of overt heart failure.
