The aim of this research is to find new tools to know, understand and consequently preserve the most recent ar-chitectural heritage (XX-XXI century). This heritage, particularly interesting is in need of attention due to the state of degradation in which it finds that undermines its conservation. This need is evident not only in the Italian con-text but, in the western world. Since the 1972 Unesco Convention it is precisely the concept underlying the defini-tion of Heritage that has become increasingly broader; today, more recent artefacts are also looked upon as ele-ments to be protected in the same way as older ones. The research, begun years ago by the writer, currently sees a close collaboration between DAD and Universidad del Pais Vasco. The objectives of this study are: verification of the applicability of the tools already adopted in the archaeology of the architecture of traditional constructions and development of the specificities in the interpretation of contemporary constructions.

Abstract
The objectives of this study are: verification of the applicability of the tools already adopted in the archaeology of the architecture of traditional constructions and development of the specificities in the interpretation of contemporary constructions.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
