Nora, Area C2: ricerche 2020-2021

The paper presents the results of the analyses conducted by the University of Genoa in Nora, within the C2 Area, during the two-year period 2020-2021. In this area, the remains of a late antique structure -maybe a house- are being brought to light, which seems to be located above an older complex. The use of this structure is marked by two distinct phases, which are respectively framed in the periods between the IV and the first half of the V century AD and the VI century AD.

Il testo presenta i risultati delle indagini condotte dall’Università di Genova, nel biennio 2020-2021, a Nora (Area C2). In quest’area, stanno venendo alla luce i resti di una struttura, forse un’abitazione, che sembra essere stata allestita al di sopra di un complesso più antico. La vita di questo edificio è scandita da due differenti fasi, che si inquadrano rispettivamente tra la fine del IV e la prima metà del V e nel VI secolo d.C.
