Abstract
In her book, Il modello conversazionale. Sulla differenza tra comprensione ordinaria e interpretazione giuridica, Francesca Poggi first analyzes Grice’s conversational maxims and reformulates them so that they result also applicable to ordinary normative discourse. She then checks the possibility of applying these maxims in the legal field and concludes that they are only applicable to the interpretation of contracts. While, as regards the communication between the legislator and the addresses of the statutes, Poggi believes that the ordinary conversational model is not applicable, and that the legal interpretation is therefore fundamentally different from everyday communication.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
