The forms and ways of the new digital coexistence impose unprecedented educational urgencies. Probably, among the new values of education as a category of the human and among the new categorical pedagogical imperatives of contemporaneity, it will be necessary to include the awareness that inhabiting the Net and the Web requires a new vision, allowing to consider a man again as a person and not as a mere object of aes- thetic evaluation measured in terms of likes.The theoretical and pedagogical question to ask is whether we as adults (educators and teachers) are prepared for the new dynamics imposed by digital citizenship or if we risk, like the adults described in the Sirach, of remaining mute in the face of new educational responsibilities.
Le forme e i modi della nuova convivenza digitale impongono urgenze edu- cative inedite. Probabilmente, tra i nuovi valori dell’educativo come categoria dell’umano e tra i nuovi imperativi categorici pedagogici della contempora- neità, occorrerà annoverare la consapevolezza che abitare la Rete e il Web richiede uno sguardo nuovo, capace di tornare a guardare l’uomo come per- sona e non come mero oggetto di valutazione estetica misurata in termini di like. La domanda teoretica e pedagogica da porsi è se noi adulti (educatori ed insegnanti) siamo preparati alle nuove dinamiche imposte dalla cittadinanza digitale oppure se rischiamo, come gli adulti descritti dal Siracide, di rimanere muti dinanzi alle nuove responsabilità educative.
