On the occasion of the ninety years of Martin Heidegger’s academic lecture “Was ist Metaphysik?” (1929), the Journal “Aquinas”, edited by Leonardo Messinese, asks this fundamental question again. Published articles give answers to this question that enhance the complex historical and conceptual evolution of metaphysics, but at the same time demonstrate how it can and should be declined in ever more plural terms.
