Corona crisis produced different behavioural changes in the community. People experienced a different kind of thinking and acting models, furthermore, they had experienced new things to do and ways of being. The period of lockdown, that it is possible to consider as a waitphase, must be analyzed from a different point of view. It is from this moment that is possible to start the process of innovation. The study of these changes could help the designer to understand and consequentially act to solve the new needs raised during the emergency. The analysis, focusing on people as a principal character of these behavioural changes, firstly zoomed-in the competencies, developed during the crisis, creating a sort of Quarantine Curriculum. Secondly, zoomed-out the people moving attitude, that could help, through the large quantity of obtained data, to visualize the space and design a new solution for mobility . These two zooms have been developed through two disciplines: Service Design and Data Visualization. It appeared the need, about the analysis of the competences, to make people aware of what they have achieved during the lock-down. People acted, some time for necessity, some time for emulation of behaviours observed through media and social networks. It is necessary, in order to make visible and available these competencies, to build a process of systematization. The designer has to collaborate to get in shape and represent the competences. Once they have been identified, would be possible to stage them through the scenario’s tool. The systematization could become a useful tool to design services that need multidisciplinary competences. Data Visualisation, on the other hand, sets itself as a helpful tool to convey information as a response to people’s increasing needs to understand how to relate to a society devasted by the pandemic and how to cope with the resulting difficulties. For instance, it provides people with the opportunity to face their mobility in a new way and to behave according to a revised awareness. Dataviz is a powerful tool to visualize information, to modify decision-making processes and to provide people with experiences. In this approach, emotions are essential, because in nowadays society – a society ruled by isolation and constant search for self-affirmation – they help the overall involvement, by providing visual monitoring of the situation. Users, provided with proper tools, are able to cooperate with the design of a new mass step.

Abstract
Users, provided with proper tools, are able to cooperate with the design of a new mass step.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
