This article runs through some key elements of Massimo Barale’s philosophical path. In particular, the focus is on his conception of philosophy and his reading of the different meanings of transcendental thinking. The scope of phenomenology and the idea of rationality will be discussed as well, alongside with Barale’s dialogue with philosophy of mind and neuroscience.
