Il contribu-to presenta i principali riferimenti teorici e metodologici dell’approccio denominato PRi:SMA - Perception of Risk: Strategies for Mapping and Analysis, messo a punto nel corso di una ricerca triennale a carattere multi e interdisciplinare.

Abstract
The approaches that characterize the traditional studies of geography of perception show a renewed interest and applicability also in the investigations on the perception of risk. The contribution presents the main theo-retical and methodological references of the approach called Pri:SMA - Perception of Risk: Strategies for Mapping and Analysis, developed during a three-year multi- and interdisciplinary research. The aim of the research was to reconstruct the multiform perceptions of hydrogeological risk in Val Bisagno (Genoa); these perceptions were analysed on the basis of the individual, category and collective variables that influence them. The research stages, the sources and methods of finding information, the tools specifically developed for the collection of data and the main results of their analysis are explained. Finally, a reflection is proposed on the possible operational reflexes of the research on the territory and on the strengths and weaknesses of the methodological approach followed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
