A novel quantitative electromagnetic imaging method for subsurface prospecting is proposed in this article, exploiting the potentialities of the regularization theory in Lebesgue spaces with variable exponents. The described technique has been preliminarily validated by means of numerical simulations, where scattered field data are collected in a crossborehole scenario.

Abstract
