The spread of misinformation on social medias can influence the rate of vaccine hesitancy nowadays. The article is aimed at investigating the way to detect fake news singling out the peculiarity of scientific field. A special attention is paid to the measures which can hinder the dissemination of misinformation (fact checking etc..). A solution could be to involve in a more significant way the scientific community which can create more engaging communication on social medias.
