This article presents the outcomes of the archaeological researches carried out in the last twenty years by the University of Genoa in the northwestern area of Nora (CA). The area provides interesting data on the transformations which occured after the Severan period: from the end of the 4th century to the beginning of the 5th century A.C., the city experienced a period of stagnation, marked by poor construction activity and phenomena of abandonment and reuse of buildings and areas. Accordingly between the 4th/5th and the 7th century AD, there is a new planning and housing balance that shows the vitality of the area.

Abstract
