This experience refers to an initiative involving professors and students of the Post-Graduate Programme in Architectural Heritage and Landscape of the University of Genoa and restorers Antonio Rava and Carlo Terzi. The idea was born within the European project "Centres de Ressources et d’innovation pour les Métiers d’Art (ART LAB NET) involving the Department of Architecture and Design of the University of Genoa and Pigna Mon Amour Association of Sanremo. Among the objectives of the project is the launch of a pilot project for innovation in craftsmanship inside the "Pigna", the historic district of Sanremo characterized by the presence of valuable plasters and decorations, at risk of complete replacement during renovations of dwellings. The association Pigna Mon Amour, worried about the destiny of the plasters of its historical centre has therefore proposed to the Post-Graduate School to put its skills and human resources at the disposal of the project, organizing a demonstration workshop (the pilot project, in fact), with the active involvement of the students and restorers. The activities, just ended, will become an example of good practice for future maintenance and restoration work. This is also an opportunity to strengthen the university mission of "third level" as well as role of territorial entities for maintenance and care of Cultural Heritage. This experience will be communicated at various levels (for professionals and artisan operators, with organization of specific training courses, for citizens, with actions to raise awareness on the value of their historical heritage and the importance to preserve it).

Abstract
This experience will be communicated at various levels (for professionals and artisan operators, with organization of specific training courses, for citizens, with actions to raise awareness on the value of their historical heritage and the importance to preserve it).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
