The author looks at different theoretical proposals which use the concept of reason for action in approaching some of the classical questions of legal theory, that is, more specifically, the normativity, the acceptance and the justification of legal norms. For this purpose, the book is divided into two main parts. The first part contains a general analysis of the concepts of reason and of action. The results of this part are then applied, in the second part, to the analysis of the three questions just mentioned.

1999

Abstract

The author looks at different theoretical proposals which use the concept of reason for action in approaching some of the classical questions of legal theory, that is, more specifically, the normativity, the acceptance and the justification of legal norms. For this purpose, the book is divided into two main parts. The first part contains a general analysis of the concepts of reason and of action. The results of this part are then applied, in the second part, to the analysis of the three questions just mentioned.
