To better understand this key moment in high-level judo fights we had analyzed the medal fights of Paris and Baku Gran Slam 2016 (n. 77 final matches). As trainers we have to increase the number and the various of training situations to improve judokas behaviors concerning transition situations to ne-waza phases, especially with transition situations starting Tori standing up, uke 4 supports or prone.
