The considerations of this paper are placed in this investigation in which today’s city or better to say the new landscape «…replaces architecture as basis structure of city-planning becoming both a lens through which the contemporary city is represented and the tool by which it’s built». Social changes and the enormous technological developments changed during the last decade and keep on revolutionizing urban spaces, but above all peri-urban spaces. «The city, in fact, seems less and less topical and territorial and more and more teletopical and deeply extraterritorial, in which central and suburban geometric notions are losing their meanings». The acts of settlement within suburban and rural territories have, therefore, affected traditional planning tools. Technologies have shaped both relationships between humans and humans and humans and city.
