The aim of this paper is to analyze from a sociolinguistics, socioterminology and folk linguistics perspective the denominations and the definitions attributed to the guerrilla gardening movement in French, English and Italian. The corpus consists of web dictionaries, websites and the two manifestoes of the movemenet (Tracey 2007 and Reynolds 2008).
