Abstract

The capability of the space environment to alter the cells behaviour seems to be an opportunity for future researches in biology, for diseases such as cancer. This paper highlights the importance of Interoperable Simulation Systems as precious instruments to support and improve space exploration projects devoted to biological researches. The research investigates the potential of Modeling & Simulation to reproduce a virtual environment to support Nano-satellite experiments in cooperation among the different stakeholders involved in a space mission, such as scientist, engineers and biologists.
