Abstract
In this paper we present the current state of aairs about our funded research projects concerning the investigation of Ontology-Based Data Access in the context of intermodal logistics. This application do- main is particularly challenging for two main motivations. On the one hand, it is characterized by very large amounts of data; on the other hand, the design of a conceptual layer must strike a balance between ecient but potentially simplistic models, and sophisticated, but poten- tially highly inecient ones.File in questo prodotto:
