As this book represents not an end result but a synopsis of interim findings – the starting point, namely, for a more broadly conceived project – the last contribution is not an afterword but rather an outlook on the future. It will discuss first the possibilities (and limits) of a scientific web portal in view of the hype surrounding Web 2.0 and the claims of a communication culture bearing the mark of folksonomy, and then go on to present the portal “Multilingualism and literary creativity” in screen shots and explain its structure, in particular the division into publication platform and interview databank.
