Analytic expressions for strain energy release rate and Mixed-Mode stress intensity factors in cracked curved beams with cylindrically orthotropic material properties are derived. The expressions depend on the elastic constants of the material, some geometric factors and the stress resultants at the crack tip. They are applied in a theoretical model based on curved beam theory to analyze delaminated curved beams in pure bending (C-specimen). The results are compared with rigorous elasticity solutions.
