This report summarizes research activities carried out in compliance with Task #2, #3 and #4 of the research project proposed to and funded by the A. Von Humboldt Stiftung. Actually, the programme of the activities was updated accounting for outcomes and conclusions of the first period as described in the beginning of the present report. Conclusions address the future steps to be undertaken during the next period of exchange. This report is co-authored by Dipl.-Ing. Claas Fischer, actually PhD at TUHH and working on similar topics, as the reported research activities were carried out in strict cooperation.
