The present work analyzes the quality of differential corrections for real-time positioning from a GPS Permanent Stations network, close to its boundaries. It is in such zones that RTK positioning services may introduce problems of reliability and coherence with solutions coming from neighbouring networks. Two RTK survey campaigns in reference to the regional network of Lombardia and Piemonte were performed; the first one around the permanent station of Varzi (Pv), in the Lombardia network, the second one around the permanent station of Alessandria, in the Piemonte network. A comparison between different typologies of differential corrections for real time is shown.
